Pritchard & Jerden’s Seventh Annual Risk Control Workshop Goes Virtual

ATLANTA, Feb. 1, 2021 – Atlanta insurance brokerage Pritchard & Jerden and law firm Swift Currie will host the seventh annual Risk Control Workshop as a virtual webinar to comply with COVID-19 safety standards. While in previous years the event occurred at the Hyatt’s Villa Christina with around 140 guests, this year’s workshop is expected to attract a larger number of attendees due to the advantage of hosting it in a virtual space.

Risk Control Workshop 2021

The 2021 Risk Control Workshop will cover a range of emerging risk-related topics, a majority of which place a significant focus on how COVID-19 has altered the risk in each specific sector. Topics that will be discussed include COVID & Workers’ Compensation Exposure; COVID & General Liability Exposure; COVID & Resulting Compliance With the FFCRA, FMLA and ADA; OSHA – What Employers Can Expect from the New Biden/Harris Administration; and Cyber – Challenging Renewals in the Market and Statistics on Ransomware & Other Cyber Claim Trends.

The speakers selected to provide insight on emerging risks comprise Partners Lisa Wade, Mark Irby, and Drew Timmons from Swift Currie, Partner John Bennett from Freeman Mathis & Gary, Sr. Project Manager Lewis Moseley from Risk Consultants of America, and Executive Vice President Hunter Maskill from INSUREtrust – all of which are accomplished industry experts. The conjunction of speakers with extensive experience from a selection of diverse industries, including law firms, consulting firms, and cyber insurance companies, is expected to bring a wealth of knowledge to the webinar’s discussions.

“Pritchard & Jerden and our claims team expect that our clients and prospects will find the workshop’s information very useful, as it is extremely relevant as we all navigate in the age of COVID.  We are excited about this event and look forward to the participation and feedback following this workshop,” says Willie Kelly, Pritchard & Jerden’s Director of Claims Advocacy.

The Risk Control Workshop was founded in 2015 to provide attendees with beneficial information on emerging risks and discuss what actions they can take to prevent losses while simultaneously cultivating a dynamic networking space.
