ATLANTA, Sept. 2, 2020 – Pritchard & Jerden’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee is pleased to announce a charitable contribution of $1,000 to Grove Park Foundation to support the foundation through COVID-19 impacts. 

Grove Park Foundation is an Atlanta-based agency that was founded in 2015 to restore, connect, and provide economic opportunities for Westside neighborhoods along Proctor Creek that have been affected by decades of intergenerational poverty and environmental degradation. Soon after its establishment, the foundation quickly fostered critical partnerships with Atlanta Public Schools, KIPP and the YMCA, thus resulting in new housing options for all income levels and a new YMCA facility to the neighborhood.

The Grove Park Foundation has since expanded from its foundation to devote itself to longer-term goals of establishing a system that supports a cradle-to-college education pipeline in conjunction with mixed-income housing and community wellness programs and facilities. 

“Through this donation, we hope to support the families at Grove Park who continue to endure the impact COVID-19 has had throughout our nation. We’re all in this together and we want to do our part to help our community, and most importantly, those in need. We are honored to be of service,” stated Pritchard & Jerden’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee Leader, Amber Young.

Pritchard & Jerden’s donation to Grove Park Foundation will be allocated to the COVID-19 Emergency Fund, which directly supports Grove Park families and seniors who have been negatively impacted by income loss, housing instability, and food access issues due to COVID-19.
